Like the other reviews have said, this place is hidden away on the king street side of the Grace Hotel. There's no visible signage from the street and you have to walk into the hotel to see it (it's at the back of PJ's)
I discovered it by chance and tried out their Hainanese Chicken rice. I loved it! I've tried out plenty of Malaysian eateries in Sydney and this one gets my vote for their reasonable pricing and the speed of their service. I went on a Thursday lunch time and less than 5 minutes after ordering, my food was served. The portion size was good, the food was delicious and very close to how I would expect it if I was eating in Singapore or Malaysia and ,what's pretty important to me, the place isn't that busy. I had no problems finding a seat during the lunch peak hour.
An interesting dish to try is their fried Hainanese chicken rice dish. I sounds quite interesting as I don't think they serve that in Singapore or Malaysia. I haven't tried it yet but that's the next dish I'll get from there.
Definitely worth a visit! -

Tried the Hainan chicken rice which was quite nice. Quite a large serving, got the 'leg' rather than 'breast', bits of the thigh seemed to be missing, but you get the mini drumstick as well. Chicken soup was nice and flavourful, but the chicken itself was not as tender as some hainan chickens I've had before. Hard to get a seat though

Singapore noodles and chicken laksa!!
Hidden away in the Grace Hotel, you'll find a flurry of Malay appetites. Grabbing a seat can prove to be quite difficult during the lunch time CBD madness. But doing so will make you happy!!! I was happy to see that they accept eptos. Hooray plastic!
Laksa was creamy but not spicy, and chicken was well chicken. The Singapore noodles took the cake! We finished the entire plate. -

Nasi lemak ( fragrant coconut rice ) also is one of my favorite here. It comes with side dishes, such as curry chicken?, sambel egg and fried anchovies.
Taste reminds me having this dish back in Malaysia. -

Delicious laksa hidden in the hotel... Only open on weekends, go early to avoid the lunch crowds!
